Before there was silicone and living rubber there were hair jigs. Hand tied jigs made on kitchen tables, garage workbenches and in a few out of the way tackle shops, lovingly tied with hope and patience and always hidden from the view of fishing partners until just the right moment arose. Unfortunately the art of tying a good hair jig is being lost. Mass production in foreign lands, the passing of our greatest generation and simple economics have made finding good hair jigs a thing of the past, until now.

The Pure Poison hair jig line is available in our peanut, witchdoctor and football style jig heads. Custom configurations that incorporate living rubber or silicone strands are available.

Hair jigs are produced on a made to order basis and must be called in to our phone number prior to your online entry. Quantities of these jigs are at times limited due to time factors involved in their production.
