Yet another example of necessity being the mother of invention.  This jig was desiged with three things in mind,  grass, weeds, and mazes of timber.    Our new sharpshooter jig is possibly the best new jig to emerge from Area 51 in quite some time.   The sharpshooter incorporates several features of our other products into one seamless design that makes it lethal to big fish hiding in heavy cover.  It  starts with a narrowed bullet shape head, then we added a Mustad heavy wire 28 degree EWG hook that allows the angler to flip and swim the jig with one nasty little extra feature you are sure to love, an inline coil lock just beneath the neck of the jig.   Because the hook passes through the center of the coil lock it won't bend, break, or get hung on cover.  This also allows anglers to throw both  large and small trailers such as  worms, craws and larger creature baits on the jig nose hooked without fearing damage to the trailer or coil.  This allows you to throw combinations of soft plastics on your jig you only dreamed of before.  Worms stay straight and don't have to be skin hooked and this jig is awesome when paired with any of our floating shakey head worms, creature baits, pitching craws or x fry.   It also has a full 20 strand brush guard at the perfect angle to protect the hook  and keep the plastic floating naturally.  So next time they bury themselves behind heavy cover where they think it's safe call in the sharp shooter and pick them off.
